Had an awful experience in Bannisters. The atmosphere was good. However, the food was unsatisfactory. Ordered tea, when... arrived the milk was off.Full English Breakfast; Faults!! - ‘Homemade Beans’ had a vile taste which tasted like tinned beans. - Mushroom Paste- was sloppy and really gluey. The sausages tasted of a low quality meat and was not cooked and were cold, you know.Egg Benedict:Lemonade hollandaise sauce was overpowering with lemon, the eggs were over poached and was rubbery. The chef was also burning the bread which kept setting the alarm off.There need to be vast improvements if they truly think that they deserve a five star ratings!!read more

Great venue for a private meal with friends. Beautifully decorated and the menu given to us was delicious and excellent... value for money. Carlo also catered for people with specific dietary requirements but kept them included in the whole menu. A fantastic evening was had by all. Thank you.read more
