Best cafe in Oxford. Great coffee, great food and friendly staff. Fluffiest, yummiest American pancakes with maple syrup and streaky bacon (I’ve had them at least every time I’ve been). Can’t fault it.

Fantastic place with an imaginative menu. English breakfast with a twist - homemade beans and ketchup. Corned beef hash is the best ever. The homemade cakes...eat one and take another away. Coffee is very good. Lively with reggae music and very reasonable prices too.

Came her for a late breakfast. Wow. It was worth the wait. Full english was cooked perfectly. The home made beans were good and the mushroom ketchup was amazing. The home made ginger beer was refreshing. Service was great. Overall a lovely little cafe. We would definetly return to try more.

Try the walnut toast with the full fry. Mushroom ketchup is delicious. Also a glass of the freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice

I've been a regular customer at Bannisters since they opened, and I can't stop coming back for more. The staff are lovely, enthusiastic and helpful, and the cafe has a warm, family feel to it. The food is extraordinary - the level of care and attention that goes into the product is obvious - especially the home made bread and cakes, and the best triple cooked chips I've ever had - Bannisters puts more established restaurants to shame in that regard.
